MTC Distribution is currently seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our growing warehouse team. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and is eager to contribute to a fast-paced, team-oriented logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing inbound and outbound freight, including processing materials arriving via freight trucks, bulk trucks, and railroad.
Assisting with general packaging tasks to ensure goods are prepared for transit.
Assembling and disassembling gaylord boxes and maintaining an organized workspace.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in the logistics, warehouse, or trucking industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic.
Skills: Proven proficiency in operating a forklift is required.
Compliance:
All candidates must have a clean background and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Availability:
This is a demanding, physical role that requires a team player. Weekly hours will vary based on workload, typically ranging from 45 to 50 hours.
