We’re hiring a Senior Property Accountant to oversee accounting operations for a portfolio of commercial properties and active construction projects.
This role goes beyond invoice processing. You’ll own property-level financials, manage vendor and construction-related accounting, and partner directly with operations and leadership to keep projects running clean, accurate, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own property-level accounting for commercial assets and related entities
- Oversee AP, accruals, prepaid expenses, and cash management
- Manage construction draws, job cost coding, and vendor coordination
- Reconcile GL, AP subledger, bank accounts, and credit cards
- Support month-end close, financial reporting, and variance reviews
- Coordinate with property management on contracts, recurring vendors, and operating expenses
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and 1099 reporting
