The ideal candidate is a DMV resident with at least 16 years of experience managing projects involving data, reporting, and analytics, with required expertise in Agile Scrum project management methodologies, including experience leading Agile Scrum sprints.
Executive Summary: HRUCKUS seeks a Project Manager for the PASS Modernization Project to lead reporting and analytics development, including requirements, solution design, implementation, testing, and post go-live support.
Position Description: The district government’s PASS Modernization Project is replacing the existing on-premises procurement management system with a new state-of-the-art cloud solution. OCP seeks a Project Manager to support the Project Management Office (PMO) by managing the development of reporting and analytics, to include:
- Development of reporting and analytics requirements
- Development of alternative solutions that meet the requirements
- Identification of the best solutions
- Identification of data sources for the best solutions
- Implementation of the best solutions including documentation
- Testing of the solutions
- Post go-live support
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules (status/progress)
- Create and maintain project documents
- Coordinate submissions of workstream weekly status reports
- Develop PMO status reports
- Prepare status presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
- Report status to PMO, project leadership, and organization leadership
- Organize project artifacts in Microsoft Teams
- Develop strategies and project plans that align with OCP and District goals
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement to understand vision and goals for reports and analytics
- Work with PMO and other project managers to ensure team members have the knowledge and skills to support stakeholders
- Coordinate the use of data from reports and analytics to support business decisions, incorporating these into training materials, policies, and procedures
- Translate the project’s data, reporting, and analytics vision into long- and short-range plans, including:
- Project plans
- Resource alignments
- Training and communications
- Transformation and change management
- System integration testing
- User acceptance testing
- Go-live preparations
- Post-go-live support
- Balance multiple priorities while coordinating resources
- Monitor activities to maintain PMO schedule and update as necessary
- Coordinate with PMO to mitigate impacts to other workstreams
- Analyze complex delivery dates to create innovative Microsoft Project schedules or Agile Scrum Roadmap Timebox schedules
- Align schedules with organizations, stakeholder groups, functional workstreams, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components
- Monitor progress to track milestones and report on progress
- Manage project scope and objectives, including RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions), change management, and communications processes
- Provide quality organization and oversight for all project documents
- Maintain project artifacts in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
- Participate in PMO, Steering Committee, and other project meetings
- Document discussions and decisions
- Serve as liaison between PMO, other project managers, and team members
- Support PMO for all aspects of the project
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Experience in managing projects involving data, reporting, and analytics is required.
- Agile Scrum project management methodology, including but not limited to experience with Agile Scrum sprints.
- Proven leadership and decision-making skills managing a diverse team including onsite and virtual team members
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
- Willing to work onsite 4 days a week
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with AI as it relates to data, reporting, and analytics
- PMP certification
- Experience with data and dashboards developed using data tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
Minimum Education/ Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, IT, data, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
The target annual salary is $147,000 - $157,000.
