Executive Summary: HRUCKUS is seeking an experienced Junior Configuration Manager to join our client’s team in Colorado Springs, CO. The Junior Configuration Manager will be supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This role ensures accurate and compliant configuration documentation by maintaining as-built models, drawings, configuration records, and asset information across enterprise systems. You will work closely with engineers and technical teams to ensure configuration integrity for mission-critical systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive audits of artifacts and asset inventories to create and maintain accurate as-built models and drawings for assigned areas
• Use Visio and other modeling tools to create and maintain as-built configuration drawings or models
• Review and research Change Requests and other work vehicles, completing tasks using the Remedy™ ticketing system
• Consult with engineers to understand configuration changes and update all related drawings and artifacts
• Update and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Help update and maintain property records
• Work under minimal supervision
• Prioritize assignments for themselves and junior personnel to complete work in a timely manner
• Provide useful suggestions on improving processes
• Maintain a positive and friendly working relationship with customers and peers
• Have strong interpersonal skills
• Have a sharp eye for details
• Have the ability to move between big-picture and small-details thinking when needed

Required Skills:

• Must have 6, or more, months of general IT experience
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Must have, or obtain, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Skills:

• Be proficient in Microsoft Visio
• Have experience using the Remedy™ ticketing system
• Have a working knowledge of IT areas
