About the position:
As a Part-Time member of our Carryout Team you will assist in creating an excellent customer service experience. Our curbside service has grown during COVID and we are looking for Team Members to join us to help us deliver orders to our curbside guests.
What we are looking for:
- Team members with daytime availability between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri., and Sat.)
- Team members with Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening availability (4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.)
- Enter customer orders into the computer to be transmitted to the kitchen for preparation.
- Accept payment from customers, and make change as necessary.
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints.
- Prepare daily cold food and beverages, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, beverages, or coffee using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures.
- Select food items from serving or storage areas and place them in carry-out containers. Package orders in boxes or in takeout bags.
- Prepare and serve cold drinks, mix milkshakes, and dispense ice cream and or sundaes.
- Clean and organize service areas.
- Pack food, utensils, and other items needed for Carry-Out Orders.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to walk constantly and the ability to lift /carry 10-20 lbs.
- Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
- Energetic - Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.
- Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
- Active Listening - Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
