The Breakfast Buffet Attendant plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience by ensuring our buffet is fresh, well-stocked, clean, and inviting. Key Responsibilities
- Turning on buffet units to pre-heat and pre-cool before service
- Loading hot and cold food items into the buffet
- Setting out utensils needed for the buffet items
- Setting out condiments for buffet items
- Check to confirm China dinner plates and bowls were preheated
- Place on trays, breakfast pastries for buffet service
- Knowledge of all food items on the buffet
- Assists guest as needed answering questions, assistance to return to their table
- Refilling items on the buffet as needed, KEEPING ALL ITEMS FRESH, HOT AND OR COLD
- Restocking China items as need
- Communicating with kitchen to which items are needed for the buffet
- Reacts to guest emergencies by contacting manager on duty
- Cleaning and sanitizing buffet units as needed
- REPLACING SOILED UTENSILS AS NEEDED
- Recording hot and cold temperatures for the temp log
- Breaking down, cleaning and sanitizing buffet units and utensils at the end of service, placing items in proper storage area
- Breaking down food items and placing items in the proper places at the end of service
- Completing assigned side work duties for buffet attendant
- Any other duties as requested by management
