What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Operator position at HRDS?
Job Location: City of Industry
PPE required: Steel toe boots
Shift time frame & shift differential. All Shifts Open
- First shift schedule 6:40 AM - 3:00 PM
- Second shift schedule 2:40 PM - 11:000 PM ($0.65 shift differential)
- Third shift schedule 10:40 PM - 7:00 AM ($1.10 shift differential)
Must be open to work mandatory weekends & overtime.
LOP (Line operator): Ensuring the product is constantly running properly as needed, proper ingredients & detail oriented to reduce errors.
Start pay rate: $20.00 (depending on shift, shift differential will be added)
Core Responsibilities
- Operating machinery
- Run equipment that mixes, cooks, fills, seals, or packages food products.
- Monitoring production
Watch the line to ensure everything is moving correctly (speed, temperature, portions, etc.).Inspect products for consistency, correct labeling, and food safety standards.Fix minor jams or machine issues and alert maintenance for bigger problems.Maintain strict hygiene standards (very important in food manufacturing).
- Quality checks
- Troubleshooting issues
- Following safety & sanitation rules
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
- Line Production: 2 years (Required)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Preferred)
- Overnight Shift (Preferred)
