Batch Maker β Food Manufacturing
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (plus shift differential depending on schedule)
First shift schedule 6:40 AM - 3:00 PM
Second shift schedule 2:40 PM - 11:000 PM ($0.65 shift differential)
Third shift schedule 10:40 PM - 7:00 AM ($1.10 shift differential)
Must be open to work mandatory weekends & overtime.
Position Overview
The Batch Maker supports the production process by assisting the Process Operator in setting up, operating, and monitoring equipment used to mix, blend, and season ingredients. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and operation of mixing, blending, and seasoning equipment
- Measure and add ingredients according to formulas and production schedules
- Monitor equipment to ensure proper temperature, timing, and consistency
- Support the Process Operator in maintaining efficient production flow
- Perform quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and GMP guidelines
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or production preferred
- Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed
Pay: $18.00 per hour
