What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head of Host Operations position at HR MGMT 10 LLC?
About Dialed Health
Dialed Health is a wellness ecosystem launching in Los Angeles that brings events, supplements, recovery hardware, blood testing, and telehealth under one membership. Phase 1 is our wellness events platform — a marketplace where fitness instructors, run clubs, yoga teachers, recovery coaches, gyms, and sport organizers host events and grow their communities. We’re not building another booking tool. We’re building the platform that makes every other option feel incomplete.
The Role
We’ve already built a platform with some of the best host tools in the industry — event creation, ticketing, analytics, attendee communication, and discovery. Now we need someone to put them in the hands of every instructor, run club, gym, and organizer in Los Angeles. You will own the entire host lifecycle: finding them, onboarding them, migrating their operations onto Dialed Health, and making sure their first 10 events go flawlessly. You’re equal parts recruiter, relationship manager, and product advocate.
The platform is built. Your job is implementation. You’ll work one-on-one with every host to migrate their classes, clubs, and private sessions from Instagram DMs, Eventbrite, MindBody, or wherever they’re currently running things. You’ll sit between our hosts and our dev team, flagging any real-world issues or edge cases that come up during onboarding so they get fixed fast. Your success metric is simple: every host you onboard should love using Dialed Health more than whatever they were using before.
What You’ll Do
Recruit & Acquire Hosts
- Identify, reach out to, and sign fitness instructors, run clubs, yoga teachers, outdoor groups, gyms, studios, and sport organizers across Los Angeles
- Build and manage an outreach pipeline targeting hosts who are currently managing their communities through social media, Venmo, or competing platforms
- Attend local fitness events, run clubs, and wellness pop-ups to recruit hosts in person
- Hit monthly host acquisition targets that directly drive platform supply growth
Onboard & Migrate
- Work one-on-one with each host to migrate their full schedule — classes, clubs, private sessions, recurring events — onto the Dialed Health app
- Walk hosts through every feature: event creation, ticketing, attendee management, analytics, and direct communication tools
- Ensure each host’s existing customer base transitions seamlessly so attendees can discover, RSVP, and pay without friction
- Own the first 30 days of every host relationship — proactively check in, troubleshoot, and make sure they’re set up for success
Retain & Grow
- Be the primary point of contact for all active hosts — make sure they’re happy, paid on time after every event, and getting value from the platform
- Show hosts how to use in-app marketing analytics to understand their audience, retain attendees, and grow their business
- Encourage hosts to apply for sponsorship packages: free product from Dialed Moods supplements, giveaways, and Dialed Labs recovery hardware for their events
- Identify and develop power hosts into brand advocates who actively promote Dialed Health within their communities
Product & Dev Feedback Loop
- Serve as the voice of the host inside the company — surface any bugs, friction points, or edge cases the dev team didn’t catch before real hosts started using the platform
- QA the sign-up and event creation flow from the host’s perspective; flag and track issues until they’re resolved
- Collaborate with product and engineering to improve the host experience based on what you’re hearing in the field every day
What You Bring
- 2–4 years in community operations, business development, customer success, or marketplace operations — ideally at an early-stage startup or in the fitness/wellness space
- You’re a relationship builder. You can walk into a run club, a yoga studio, or a gym and leave with a signed-up host
- Execution-first mindset — the tools are built, your job is to get them into people’s hands and make sure every feature works the way it should in the real world
- Strong communicator who can talk to a CrossFit coach at 6am and brief the dev team on a bug at 2pm
- Based in Los Angeles and willing to be in the field multiple days per week — this is not a desk job
- You genuinely care about fitness, wellness, and helping people build communities — this isn’t a checkbox, it’s what makes you effective in the role
- Bonus: experience with marketplace platforms, event operations, or tools like MindBody, ClassPass, SweatPals, or Eventbrite
What We Offer
- Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
- Ground-floor role at a company building the next generation of wellness infrastructure — this position grows as the platform grows
- Direct access to the CEO and founding team — your input shapes the product, the go-to-market, and the culture
- Opportunity to build and lead the Host Operations team as we expand to Miami, New York, Austin, and San Francisco
- Full access to Dialed Health products: Dialed Moods supplements, Dialed Labs recovery hardware, and the platform’s wellness ecosystem
Where This Role Goes
This is not a static position. You’re the first person to own host operations at Dialed Health. As we prove the model in LA and expand to new markets, this role naturally evolves into leading a team — hiring and managing city-level host operations managers, defining the playbook they run, and overseeing host success across every market we enter. The path from here is VP of Host Operations or VP of Marketplace Operations, depending on how the business grows and what you build.
Dialed Health is an equal opportunity employer.
