We're partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed industrial company with international ties as they look to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a corporate accounting position with strong exposure to senior leadership, multiple business units, and the opportunity to grow alongside a scaling organization.
About the Role
Reporting to the Controller, you'll be responsible for key areas of the full-cycle accounting process, including the general ledger, month-end close, AR, AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with operational and financial leadership, so you'll need to be equally comfortable producing the numbers and communicating what they mean to the business.
Responsibilities
- Own the corporate general ledger and manage the full month-end close process
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting
- Manage WIP reporting and partner closely with operations on production costs and financial visibility
- Support reconciliations, audit schedules, and the company's internal control environment
- Assist with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production-related accounting
- Partner with finance and operational leaders across multiple business units
- Serve as a key accounting and finance resource for senior leadership
- Support the company's continued growth, process improvement, and evolving reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, and cost accounting
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory valuation
- Corporate accounting experience within heavy manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, materials production, chemical manufacturing, or a similar environment
- Experience working within a multi-entity or internationally connected organization is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and hands-on ERP experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with senior leadership
- CPA, active or in progress, is a plus

- Progressive accounting experience (5 years)
- Experience with WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, and cost accounting

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
