What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis position at Hoxton Circle?
We're partnering with a PE-backed company to place a Director of FP&A — this is a newly created, high-impact role overseeing two sister companies in the functional wellness space.
This is a build-out opportunity for a senior finance leader who wants real ownership, direct visibility with PE sponsors and executive leadership, and the chance to shape an FP&A function from the ground up.
The Companies
Two sister entities — one a consumer CPG brand, the other a large-scale manufacturer supplying some of the biggest names in functional beverages and wellness. Both are PE-backed, sub-$100M in revenue, and entering an exciting growth phase with a capital raise on the horizon.
The Role
You'll manage two junior FP&A Managers (one per entity), own the consolidated financial view of the business, and carry the modeling and forecasting.
What you'll own:
- Monthly consolidation and business review across both entities
- Three-statement and cash flow modeling (a significant build from the current state)
- Annual budget process and departmental budget meetings
- Rolling forecasts and scenario analysis
- Mentorship and development of two junior FP&A managers
- Investor and board-level reporting support heading into a fundraise
What We're Looking For
✔ 10 years in finance, with 3–5 years in a senior FP&A capacity
✔ CPG and manufacturing industry experience
✔ Expert financial modeler — three-statement, cash flow, scenario analysis
✔ Comfortable presenting to the C-suite and PE sponsors
✔ Hands-on, builder mentality — you don't just delegate, you do
✔ Investment Banking or PE background a strong plus
✔ PE-backed environment experience a strong plus
Please apply if this sounds like you!
