Our client is a fast-growing, SEC-registered investment manager with over $2B in assets under management, founded by some of the most accomplished operators in the industry. They're expanding their Finance team and looking for a sharp accountant who wants to own a process, not just support one.
π What you'll own:
β’ Full monthly close including journal entries, cash reconciliations, capital account allocations, and unaudited financial statements
β’ Year-end audit coordination with external auditors, start to finish
β’ All vendor payments for management company and fund expenses, including chargebacks to funds
β’ FP&A analysis of budget vs. actuals for senior leadership
β’ Data prep for regulatory filings and annual/quarterly tax reporting
β What we're looking for:
β’ CPA (required)
β’ Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
β’ 3β4 years of corporate accounting at a private equity or hedge fund β or public accounting covering fund clients
β’ Proven experience coordinating year-end audits with external auditors
β’ Strong Excel skills and the communication chops to present financials to senior leadership
β’ Bonus: familiarity with carried interest, management fee revenue, ASC 606, or operating leases

β’ Base salary: $125,000 β $140,000
