Job Description:
You will support chiropractors in daily clinical and administrative tasks. Your role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Welcomes patients and visitors to the medical office by greeting patients and visitors in person and on the telephone and answering inquiries or referring questions to other staff members.
- Schedule patients
- Maintain the passive and active area
- Assist chiropractor with active and passive treatment plans
- Enter in physical therapy notes at the end of each day
- Help with back office duties such as laundry, stocking supplies, and cleaning rooms
- Answers the phones and addresses all patient questions and concerns
- Abides by HIPAA laws regarding sharing of personal medical information
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic office skills such as typing
- Good organizational skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of a certified medical office training course preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a medical, chiropractic, or clinical setting preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.
- CPR or first aid certification is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and working on a computer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
