What are the responsibilities and job description for the Representative - Registration position at Houston Healthcare?
Work Shift:
Night - 12 Hour (United States of America)Responsible for obtaining and securing quality demographic, insurance, and financial information necessary from the patient for outpatient services assuring proper coding and signatures. Collects patient co-pays, prepares patient charts and disseminates information to the appropriate areas. Produces daily logs for statistics and schedule sheets for patient routing. Performs additional clerk/receptionist duties as necessary.Qualifications:
A. Education & Training:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
B. Experience:
One (1) year office experience or twelve (12) months secondary education which includes clerical training.
C. Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
None.
D. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Utilizes a variety of standard office equipment and supplies.
