What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Unit Coordinator - Labor and Delivery position at Houston Healthcare?
Work Shift:
Day - 12 Hour (United States of America)7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am (As Needed Basis)Responsible for bed assignment for admission of patients in assigned area. Maintains up-to-date medical records and order entry on all patients on the unit. Performs clerical and receptionist duties. Performs other patient comfort duties needed to maintain the flow of patient care within the system. Is responsible for carrying the mission, vision, values and quality commitment of Emory Healthcare.
Education & Training:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
One (1) year clerical experience or six (6) months experience as a Houston
Healthcare Patient Care Technician.
Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current AHA/ARC BLS certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to utilize standard office equipment.
