Houston County Middle School, a close-knit campus of roughly 300 students in Erin, Tennessee, is seeking a Middle School Head Basketball Coach to help lead our grades 6–8 Basketball program. In this role, you will plan, organize, and implement comprehensive practice plans, conditioning sessions, and game strategies that align with the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association and district policies. You'll collaborate with the athletic director, assistant coaches, building principal, and fellow coaches to coordinate schedules, manage equipment, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. As the middle school coach, you will work with our high school coaching staff to develop a cohesive program that prepares student-athletes for high school basketball. You'll engage with student-athletes, parents, and the broader school community through clear and consistent communication, promoting our school's spirit at games and events.
