What are the responsibilities and job description for the Craft Coordinator position at HouseMart?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Establish monthly calendar of events and conduct in-store demonstrations, classes and workshops
- Plan and coordinate craft fairs, community service projects and in-store events
- Explain and demonstrate use of products and craft techniques
- Maintain and promote the designated craft display area with current and new project trends
- Coordinate and manage craft class sign ups and scheduling
- Continuously train store personnel on product knowledge and new craft ideas
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Organize work to complete assignments, maintain accuracy, pay attention to detail and demonstrate customer service standards
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate effective decision-making and ability to exercise sound judgement
- Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
