Accountant

Job Purpose:
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support external accountants and auditors during reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions.
- Review accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Develop monthly and annual budgets.

Required Education:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Required Experience:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience in managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Experience in reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Experience in reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Experience in preparing financial statements and management reports
- Experience in assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Experience in handling monthly and annual budgets

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Ability to support external accountants and auditors during reviews
