House of Rental is a full service Party, Event, Tool & Equipment Rental company in Skokie. We were established in 1969 serving Chicago and the northern suburbs.
We are currently seeking a Laborer/ Tent Installer to join our tents & events team. If you enjoy hands-on work, being active throughout the day, and working as part of a team, this may be the right fit for you.
Delivery areas include: Skokie, Wilmette, Winnetka, Evanston, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Chicago, Highland Park, Mount Prospect, Arlington Heights, Park Ridge, and surrounding suburban areas.

Key Responsibilities
Installer/ Laborer pulls and loads tents, tables and chairs and equipment into company box trucks.
You and your crew are responsible for the construction (assembling and disassembling) of tents, delivery and installation of other rental equipment.
The work is physically demanding, but rewarding. Must be able to move/lift/carry 50 to 70 lbs.
Wear steel toed boots and company uniform shirt.
Work in crews of 3-9 people depending on the job size. When not out in the field, you will also assist with organizing equipment and other warehouse duties.
Clean and sanitize all rental equipment using ready-to-rent quality standards.
Load, unload and organize rental equipment in the warehouse.
Competencies/Characteristics
Knowledge of Party, Tent & Rental Equipment is a plus.
Takes pride in a job well done.
Has strong independent and teamwork skills.
Must be able to work some Saturdays and Sundays.
Early mornings and late nights during busy season May through October
