The House of Blades is a family owned business located in Northwest Fort Worth. We offer a large selection of cutlery of all types. We specialize in pocket, hunting, and kitchen knives as well as other cutlery accessories.

Position Available: Retail Sales Associate

The House of Blades is looking to add a part-time sales person to our team.

With the possibility of becoming a full time position with our company in the future if the fit is right.

We are looking for a person who loves working in a customer service based environment. We strive to help our customer find the perfect item for their needs. If you are someone who loves working in a fast paced environment then this is the place for you! Customer service experience is a plus. Knife knowledge not needed, but some basic knowledge will be helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Direct customers to the item they are looking for
• Help customers pick out gifts and assist them with engraving choices
• Cashier - Counting drawers and checking out customers
• Answer customers questions in person and on the phone
• Re-stocking the sales floor with inventory
• Organize and stock product in display cases
• Inventory counts quarterly
• Operating basic computer systems and printers/copier

Required Skills:

• Strong customer service skills
• Previous cashier experience
• Stellar attention to detail is required
• Ability to maintain accuracy and speed while completing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Experience working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Bonus Skills

• Any prior knife knowledge (not required)
