What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR CDL-A Regional Truck Driver position at House-Hasson Hardware Company?
This is a regional / OTR role based out of Knoxville, with consistent routes, steady miles, and a schedule you can actually plan around. Drivers are typically home two days during the week and most weekends for their 34-hour reset.
Responsibilities
- Run assigned regional delivery routes and make scheduled deliveries to customer locations
- Load and unload product at each stop (driver-assist position)
- Safely operate a CDL-A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required paperwork
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at each delivery location
- Ensure freight is delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while on the road and at customer sites
Compensation & Benefits
- $1,500- $1,600 average weekly pay
