We're looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead and optimize warehouse and distribution operations in a high-volume environment. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll develop people, improve processes, promote a culture of safety, and directly influence operational performance, customer service, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse and distribution operations to deliver exceptional service, operational excellence, and strong financial performance.
- Champion a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and develop warehouse leaders and team members to build a high-performing organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize order fulfillment, logistics, and warehouse operations to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate workflows, staffing, and operational processes to identify opportunities that increase productivity, improve service levels, and control costs.
- Develop, monitor, and leverage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive operational results.
- Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) that promote consistency, quality, and operational excellence.
- Identify operational challenges, implement practical solutions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to align operations with company goals and support long-term business success.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years in warehouse/distribution operations
- 4 years in a leadership role
- Proven success improving performance in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with KPIs and operational data
- Proficiency in Excel and operational systems
Work Environment
- Mix of office and warehouse setting
- Active role with regular time on the floor
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
