QC Assistant

HotFoot Recruiters is hiring QC Assistant to support quality control activities for semiconductor construction projects in North Phoenix, AZ. This role focuses on hands-on inspection support, documentation, cleanroom/FAB procedures, and field coordination in a high-standard project environment.

This position is ideal for candidates with cleanroom, manufacturing, inspection, construction, or quality control experience who are detail-oriented, comfortable wearing full cleanroom PPE for extended periods, and willing to learn semiconductor QA/QC procedures. Training and internal certification can be provided.

Position: QC Assistant

Location: North Phoenix, AZ | On-Site

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $65,000 – $75,000 DOE

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Support daily QC inspections in semiconductor construction and cleanroom/FAB environments.
• Assist with installation checks, workmanship verification, and field quality documentation.
• Support visual inspection activities for piping, welding, materials, labels, and installation details.
• Assist with inspections including material checks, weld bead review, label verification, pressure test support, and purge verification.
• Follow cleanroom protocols and wear required cleanroom PPE for extended periods.
• Walk project areas daily to support inspection needs and quality follow-up.
• Help document inspection results, QC checklists, reports, and field records.
• Support non-conformance tracking and assist with corrective action follow-up.
• Participate in site walkthroughs, inspections, quality meetings, and field coordination.
• Communicate with engineers, inspectors, supervisors, and field teams to support quality standards.
• Assist with report uploads, document control, and project closeout documentation.
• Perform additional QC support duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleanroom, manufacturing, inspection, construction, quality control, semiconductor, or industrial environments preferred.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom/FAB environment and wearing full cleanroom PPE for long periods.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures carefully.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working on active construction project sites.
• Ability to learn inspection procedures, drawings, checklists, and project documentation.
• Basic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and data entry.
• Reliable, organized, safety-minded, and willing to learn.
• Mandarin-English bilingual ability is a plus, but not required.
• Semiconductor or cleanroom experience is a strong plus.
