Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for the growing U.S. organization.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering, project management, construction, technical, administrative, and operations positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs, develop job descriptions, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews and offers.
- Manage new-hire onboarding, orientation, employee documentation, and offboarding.
- Support payroll administration and coordinate with payroll, benefits, and external HR vendors.
- Maintain accurate personnel records, employee files, HR documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, employee communications, and internal processes as the organization grows.
- Provide employee relations support and guidance to employees and managers.
- Assist leadership with performance management, workforce planning, compensation discussions, and employee development.
- Support benefits administration, time-off programs, and employee questions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and Arizona employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate across U.S. and international leadership teams and support communication between Mandarin- and English-speaking stakeholders.
- Take ownership of additional HR and administrative projects as business needs evolve.
- Mandarin-English bilingual ability required.
- 5 years of Human Resources experience preferred, including HR Generalist, HRBP, HR Manager, or similar experience.
- Strong recruiting / talent acquisition experience strongly preferred.
- Experience independently managing multiple HR functions in a small or growing organization.
- Working knowledge of onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits, HR compliance, performance management, and HR administration.
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment practices and Arizona HR requirements.
- Excellent communication, organization, judgment, confidentiality, and follow-through.
- Comfortable operating in a startup / build-from-scratch environment and wearing multiple hats.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Experience supporting engineering, semiconductor, construction, manufacturing, or technical teams is highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.
