Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a resource for employees and management.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and hiring follow-up.
- Manage new-hire onboarding, orientation, employment documentation, and employee records.
- Assist with employee relations questions and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR documentation.
- Support benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and other HR administrative processes as needed.
- Assist with company policies, procedures, employee communications, and HR compliance.
- Coordinate offboarding and employee status changes.
- Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and internal documentation.
- Communicate effectively with Mandarin- and English-speaking employees and leadership.
- Partner with leadership and employees across departments to support continued workforce growth.
- Assist with additional HR projects and responsibilities as the organization expands.
- Mandarin-English bilingual ability required.
- Previous Human Resources experience required.
- Previous recruiting or talent acquisition experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent professional English communication skills required.
- Experience with onboarding, employee records, HR administration, recruiting, or employee support.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and confidentiality.
- Comfortable working in a growing environment where responsibilities may evolve over time.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally with employees and leadership.
- Formal HR education is preferred, but relevant professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in engineering, construction, professional services, or a multicultural organization is a plus.
