The Hotel Ithaca located in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country is seeking an experienced and passionate Catering Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate would have previous hotel food and beverage as well as catering experience, and have a drive for success. You will coordinate all banquet functions while ensuring high quality standards while maximizing profit. You are required to be in compliance with all health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. You will schedule and maintain payroll to meet the daily needs of the department.
You will assist clients in the planning and development of events, meetings and or social events.
Provide overall direction and continuous evaluation of catering events.
Work closely with the banquet department on operations and event execution.
Requirements: You must be a Team player with hands on approach; Strong computer skills; High energy level with positive attitude; Excellent communication skills.
