Primary Responsibilities
Guest Arrival and Departure
- Greet all arriving and departing guests with a warm, genuine welcome and farewell.
- Assist guests with unloading luggage and belongings upon arrival.
- Escort guests to their rooms and provide a complete room orientation, pointing out features, amenities, and services.
- Assist departing guests with luggage and coordinate vehicle retrieval in a timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the front drive and main entrance at all times.
- Ensure doors are attended to and guests receive immediate acknowledgment and assistance.
- Valet Operations
- Greet arriving guests at the drive and obtain necessary information for valet tickets.
- Complete valet documentation accurately and legibly.
- Safely Park and retrieve guest vehicles in the designated lots, maintaining efficient organization.
- Manage vehicle keys and logs securely throughout each shift.
- Complete all required overnight paperwork and reporting to ensure valet charges and records are accurate.
- Monitor the condition of vehicles and immediately report any concerns or damages.
Guest Relations and Concierge Support
- Engage guests in friendly, professional conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Offer personalized recommendations for dining, shopping, and local attractions.
- Support Front Office and Concierge teams by communicating guest preferences, special requests, or service needs.
- Handle guest inquiries or issues with professionalism, empathy, and prompt resolution.
- Represent Hotel El Roblar’s service philosophy through genuine hospitality and attention to detail.
Operational Expectations
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with hotel standards.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local area points of interest.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to support a seamless guest experience.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and key control procedures.
- Exercise sound judgment during busy periods; prioritize guest engagement while maintaining efficient traffic flow.
- Take ownership of the front drive and entrance experience — ensuring consistent, high-quality guest interaction.
