ROLE SUMMARY: The Pool Attendant is responsible for delivering prompt, friendly, and attentive food and beverage service to guests in the pool area, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role supports overall guest satisfaction by maintaining poolside service standards, assisting with food running, and embodying Hotel Drover’s commitment to warm, elevated hospitality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Deliver food and beverage items from pool bar or kitchen to guests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck, service stations, and surrounding guest areas throughout the shift.

Assist with setup and breakdown of poolside service areas, including chairs, umbrellas, tables, and service supplies.

Communicate clearly with the Veranda Bar, Culinary team, and Manager on Duty to support smooth service flow and guest needs.

Monitor pool area for guest needs, proactively offering assistance, water service, and hospitality support.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper handling of food and beverages.

Support inventory awareness by restocking towels, menus, glassware, and service supplies as needed.

Provide attentive, proactive guest service by anticipating needs, offering menu assistance, and ensuring guest comfort throughout their pool experience.

Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, or feedback, escalating issues to leadership when necessary.

Adhere to all hotel policies, pool safety guidelines, and brand service standards.

All other duties as assigned.
ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods.

Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs regularly.

Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and direct sunlight.

Ability to navigate wet or slippery surfaces safely.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous hotel, resort, pool, or food & beverage service experience.
