ROLE SUMMARY: The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms, hallways, and assigned public areas in accordance with Hotel standards. This role plays a vital part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring rooms are serviced promptly, thoroughly, and safely while upholding quality, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Service guest rooms daily following hotel procedures, quality expectations, and brand standards.

Stock and organize housekeeping carts with required linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.

Enter guest rooms using approved access procedures, ensuring vacancy prior to entry.

Make beds, replace linens and terry, replenish guest amenities, and remove trash and soiled items.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, floors, mirrors, and surfaces.

Dust, polish, vacuum, and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and assigned hallways.

Inspect guest rooms to ensure furniture, appliances, and amenities are present and in working order.

Straighten furniture, desks, and room items to meet presentation standards.

Maintain cleanliness of hallways, closets, and service areas.

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, missing items, or damaged equipment promptly.

Handle Lost & Found items in accordance with hotel procedures.

Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and interactions.

Maintain a clean, professional appearance, including proper uniform and name badge.

Ensure confidentiality of guest and company information.

All other duties as assigned.
ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist for extended periods.

Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 25 lbs regularly and heavier items with assistance.

Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart over various surfaces.

Comfortable working in guest rooms, hallways, and service areas throughout the property.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
