ROLE SUMMARY: The Bellperson serves as one of the first and last impressions of Hotel Drover — creating memorable arrival and departure experiences that embody the warmth and authenticity of Texas hospitality. This role provides personalized assistance to guests with luggage handling, directions, and property information, ensuring every interaction reflects our legendary service and Drover values

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• Greet all guests with a warm, genuine, and professional welcome that reflects the spirit of Hotel Drover. 

• Assist guests with luggage handling upon arrival and departure, ensuring careful and efficient service.  

• Escort guests to their rooms, offering an overview of hotel amenities, property features, and local attractions. 

• Safely transport guests using the hotel’s house car for local travel within approved service areas, providing courteous and knowledgeable service during all transfers. 

• Provide accurate directions and helpful information regarding the Fort Worth Stockyards and surrounding area. 

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring satisfaction and timely resolution. 

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the lobby, entryway, and public areas to uphold Drover standards. 

• Track guest movement, communicate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, and F&B to ensure seamless service. 

• Conduct and log vehicle mileage and condition inspections when transporting luggage or assisting with guest vehicles. 

• Maintain awareness of all visitors and activity in front drive and lobby area; communicate with Security as needed. 

• Assist with daily operations to support the Guest Services and Front Office teams, including delivery runs and special event support. 

• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and team members. 

• All other duties as assigned.  

       ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. 

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs independently and heavier items with assistance. 

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. 

• Frequent interaction with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.

       REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Passion for creating meaningful and memorable guest experiences. 

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. 

• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully. 

• Flexible schedule — must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a collaborative mindset.

       PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Previous hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred. 

• Knowledge of the Fort Worth Stockyards and local attractions. 

• Familiarity with Opera PMS, Marriott MGS, or Bonvoy preferred. 

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
