ROLE SUMMARY: The Lobby Cocktail Server delivers warm, attentive, and elevated service within the heart of the hotel’s social space. This role blends speed, personality, and genuine hospitality to ensure guests enjoy a seamless beverage food experience reflective of the Autograph Collection and the authentic spirit of the Fort Worth Stockyards. The Cocktail Server creates welcoming moments, builds guest connections, and contributes to the lively atmosphere that defines the Hotel Drover experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Greet, welcome, and engage guests with warmth and personalized service, creating a lively and inviting bar and lounge experience.

Promptly take beverage and, enter orders accurately into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery of all items.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of all cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and menu offerings, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation styles.

Communicate clearly with bartenders, kitchen staff, and leadership to ensure seamless service flow and accuracy.

Check in with guests throughout their experience to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve concerns or requests.

Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in accordance with TABC regulations; identify and report intoxication concerns immediately.

Assist bartenders and support staff with running drinks, food delivery, bussing, restocking, and maintaining bar cleanliness.

Maintain organized and sanitary service stations, bar areas, and lounge spaces throughout the shift.

Process guest checks accurately, handle payments, and present final bills in accordance with hotel service standards.

Support the setup and breakdown of the Lobby Bar, including stocking glassware, replenishing supplies, restocking garnishes, and organizing service tools.

Collaborate with teammates to uphold the guest experience during busy periods and special activations in the lobby.

All other duties as assigned.
ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Ability to navigate crowded lobby spaces, bar areas, and service ramps safely and efficiently.

TABC and Food Handler certifications required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous hotel, bar, lounge, or luxury hospitality experience.

Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and wine.

Experience with MICROS POS and OpenTable preferred.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
