The Brass Tacks
- Oversee and supervise daily operations of the Spa Department
- Ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and overall guest experience meet luxury hospitality standards
- Develop, coordinate, and promote spa services and wellness programs to drive revenue and guest satisfaction
- Maintain efficient operations while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Foster a safe work environment and promptly address any concerns
- Manage spa retail inventory and merchandising
- Communicate effectively with hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest and employee inquiries or concerns with professionalism and care
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Analyze market trends to identify guest needs and opportunities
- Oversee billing audits, accounts payable/receivable processes
- Manage payroll processes, timekeeping, and personnel documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
The Nitty Gritty
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field or 3–5 years of spa or hospitality leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage guest relations in a luxury environment
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and spa management systems
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Ability and willingness to perform hands-on services to support operational needs, including coverage for call-outs and peak demand
- Current Washington State licensure as a Massage Therapist or Esthetician required
