About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. This role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the firm, with a focus on maintaining accurate records, managing accounts, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You'll Do:

• Support and manage assigned financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Process invoices, track payments, and maintain organized records for vendors and expenses
• Reconcile accounts and assist with routine financial reporting
• Collaborate closely with the accounting and operations team to keep accounts current and well-documented
• Assist with general accounting tasks and support special projects as the role grows

What we are looking for:

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role is a plus; we are open to the right entry-level candidate who is eager to learn
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial recordkeeping
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Trustworthy and discreet; comfortable working with sensitive financial information
• A team-first attitude and a genuine interest in being part of something people-driven

Bonus Points:

• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Background in professional services or a similar office environment
• An interest in process improvement and finding more efficient ways to get things done

Physical Requirements/Work Requirements & Environment

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
