RN Staff Educator (Full-Time)

Horsham Center for Jewish Life is a skilled nursing facility looking for a dedicated Staff Educator to join our team full-time.
Position Summary:
As our Staff Educator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing orientation, training, and ongoing education for our clinical and non-clinical staff. You’ll play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver orientation programs for new hires
- Provide ongoing in-service training based on regulatory requirements and facility needs
- Identify performance gaps and implement training plans to improve staff competencies
- Maintain documentation of all education and training activities
- Support annual skills evaluations and certifications (e.g., CPR)
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure quality standards and training goals are met
Qualifications:
- Current PA RN license (required)
- At least 2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Prior experience in a staff development or training role preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations
- CPR Instructor certification (or willingness to obtain)
