ISH Healthcare is seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Kitchen-Tray Line Supervisor 30 hours a week (days, nights and weekends included) to oversee daily kitchen operations. The Kitchen-Tray Line Supervisor will prepare nutritious meals, supervise kitchen staff, maintain food safety standards, and ensure high-quality dining services for residents and guests.
The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and passionate about providing excellent food service in a healthcare or senior living environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support kitchen staff during daily food preparation and service
Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, dietary requirements, and portion standards
Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and health department regulations
Monitor food quality, temperature logs, and kitchen cleanliness
Assist with inventory control, ordering, and proper food storage
Coordinate meal service to ensure timely delivery to residents
Train and mentor dietary staff on kitchen procedures and safety practices
Maintain a positive and professional work environment
Work collaboratively with dietary management and healthcare staff to accommodate resident dietary needs
Qualifications
Previous cooking and supervisory experience required
Experience in healthcare, nursing home, rehabilitation, or senior living dining services preferred
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
