Essential Job Functions
- Facility Sanitation: Execute the cleaning of lodge facilities and guest areas following strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and advanced sanitation protocols.
- Operational Communication: Proactively communicate maintenance needs, supply shortages, or operational challenges to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Equipment Stewardship: Maintain and care for all cleaning equipment to ensure longevity and safe operation.
- Problem Solving: Utilize reasoning and initiative to resolve minor guest or facility issues independently while maintaining a sense of urgency.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow all company safety and security policies. Report any work-related accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
- Confidentiality: Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality regarding guest information and resort operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work as a cohesive member of the housekeeping team, demonstrating flexibility and patience to ensure the overall success of the department.
- Experience: Previous resort or hotel cleaning experience is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of professional sanitation procedures and chemical handling.
- Attributes: A motivated self-starter with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor in both mannerism and appearance, adhering to all resort uniform standards (including slip-resistant, enclosed-toe/heel footwear).
- Communication: Ability to speak, read, and write English is preferred to ensure effective team coordination.
- Stamina & Agility: Must have the physical strength and stamina to stand, walk, squat, bend, and stretch for the duration of a shift.
- Lifting: Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Mental Aptitude: Requires strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work quickly and efficiently within designated time guidelines.
