As the Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily operations and ensure that every meal period runs seamlessly—from the quality of the food and beverage service to the overall guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Service Excellence
- Deliver and uphold 4‑Diamond service standards.
- Ensure every guest interaction reflects professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
- Recruit, train, and coach associates and supervisors.
- Update training materials and lead ongoing development sessions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll, inventory, and ordering.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and ensure operational efficiency.
- Support grill operations, bar service, and beverage cart logistics.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and enhance profitability.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
- Address guest concerns with sound judgment and composure.
- Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and health department standards.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years as a Restaurant Assistant Manager, ideally in an upscale or high‑volume environment.
- Experience overseeing multiple outlets is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of food preparation, bar operations, and service standards.
- Proficiency in computer systems; ability to type 40 WPM.
- Familiarity with Agilysys is a significant advantage.
- Neat, well‑groomed appearance consistent with a luxury resort environment.
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
- Must be 18 (21 if driving resort vehicles).
- Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR.
- Ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs.
