JOB TITLE: Maintenance Mechanic
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: US Beverage Packers (USBP)/Maintenance
FACILITY LOCATION: Keasbey, NJ
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Mechanic Lead
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE (Basic purpose of job)
The Maintenance Mechanic position, under limited supervision, performs work of considerable difficult conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency/unscheduled inspections repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose, rebuild, and repair machinery.
- Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
- Provide general building maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports.
- All other duties, as required or needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- HSD or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience as a mechanic
- Excellent communication skills
- OSHA knowledge
- Ability to work long hours.
