Horne Heating and Air Conditioning is hiring an experienced HVAC Residential Service Technician for our Belmont service team.

Your Role
You'll independently handle residential HVAC service appointments while helping homeowners maintain comfortable, reliable, and efficient heating and cooling systems.
Typical responsibilities include:

Troubleshoot air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and residential comfort systems

Identify electrical, mechanical, airflow, and equipment performance issues

Complete maintenance, system inspections, and necessary service work

Clearly communicate system conditions and available solutions to homeowners

Help customers understand options without relying on high-pressure tactics

Maintain accurate digital documentation for completed calls

Follow established safety and workmanship standards

Keep your service vehicle and equipment organized

Provide a professional customer experience from arrival through completion
What You Bring

At least 18 months of residential HVAC service experience

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities

Working knowledge of residential furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps

Ability to independently manage assigned service appointments

Strong customer communication skills

Professional and dependable work habits

Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

EPA Certification preferred but not required

Availability for limited rotating on-call responsibilities
