What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Therapy Aide- Part Time position at Horn Memorial Hospital?
Hiring a part-time Receptionist/Therapy Aide to join the Rehab Services department. This position will work approximately 15 hours per week, primarily in the afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, shifts and days of the week may vary. No weekends or holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering phones and scheduling patients in the Rehab Services department
- Calling insurance companies for eligibility/prior authorizations
- Transporting patients to and from Rehab Services to other areas of the hospital as needed
- Assisting therapists with patients as needed
- Cleaning patient rooms/equipment
- General office duties including scanning, faxing, phone calls, etc.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must be a High school graduate or equivalent. Excellent computer skills, including basic knowledge of Microsoft excel helpful. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to multitask.
Experience:
- Insurance/medical background preferred.
