What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Surg RN - Full Time position at Horn Memorial Hospital?
Full Time RN to work the Med Surg floor.
Looking for a full time RN to work on the Med Surg floor. Schedule includes 12 hour shifts, every 3rd weekend, and self scheduled holiday rotation. RN must be a team player, possess strong communication skills, and be eager to deliver excellent patient care. Excellent teamwork environment, supportive leadership, and a strong awareness of safe staffing ratios. Be part of a welcoming, fostering environment with opportunities to cross train to Emergency Department if desired. Opportunities for advancement to Charge Nurse if positive and effective leadership skills are demonstrated.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a RN in the State of Iowa or a compact state. Certification in Basic Life Support and preferably Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Experience:
- At least one year of experience as an RN preferred but not required.
Applicant must pass a background check, employer provided health assessment (including applicable vaccines) and provided drug screen before hiring. Position open until filled.
