Position Summary
The Hydro Blasting Technician is responsible for supporting industrial cleaning operations at various customer sites. This includes operating high-pressure, industrial grade water blasting equipment, performing tank cleaning, and assisting with emergency response services.
Note: When hydro blasting work is not available, technicians will be utilized on tank cleaning and other industrial cleaning projects, so versatility is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manual and automated hydro blasting equipment (10K, 20K, 40K PSI) safely and efficiently
- Perform tank cleaning, pressure washing, and industrial cleaning services
- Assist with vacuum truck operations and material handling
- Support emergency response jobs, including on-call situations
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Ensure all work meets company and client safety standards
- Work at multiple job sites and maintain professional client interactions
- Follow all safety procedures, including confined space entry and PPE requirements
- Read and interpret instructions (written, verbal, or visual)
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Environment & Schedule
- Rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends as needed)
- On-call availability required for emergency response
- Shifts may extend beyond 8 hours (up to 12–24 hours in emergency situations)
- Outdoor work in extreme weather conditions
- Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and around heavy equipment
- Travel to customer job sites as required

Pay range: $16/hr depending on experience
- Experience in hydro blasting, tank cleaning, or industrial services required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, climbing, confined spaces)
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to understand and follow safety instructions in English
- Must have a TWIC Card
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
- Mechanical skills and troubleshooting skills are a plus
