Registered Respiratory Therapist

Hopkins Center is hiring an Registered Respiratory Therapist! Located in Downtown Brooklyn, we are an exceptional team-oriented facility where we thrive on making our residents and staff as comfortable and happy as possible. 8 hour shifts available, full time and part time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as prescribed
• Monitor and evaluate patients' response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Registration as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC),
• Valid license to practice as Respiratory Therapist issued by NYSED,
• Registered Pulmonary Function Tech certificate (RFPT) preferred
