Compensation: Starting pay $80,000-$87,000 annually, depending on experience

The Director of Community Engagement and Philanthropy is a visionary leader responsible for developing and executing integrated strategies that enhance the organization’s visibility, deepen community relationships, and drive philanthropic support. This role oversees all aspects of external communications, brand management, marketing initiatives, community outreach, and fundraising efforts to advance the mission and strategic goals of the organization.
Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for communications, marketing, community engagement, and fundraising.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align outreach and development efforts with organizational priorities.
- Serve as a key spokesperson and ambassador for the organization.
- Communications & Marketing
- Oversee brand identity and ensure consistency across all platforms and materials.
- Lead the creation of compelling content for digital, print, and media channels.
- Manage public relations, media outreach, and crisis communication.
- Analyze marketing metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement.
- Community Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers.
- Represent the organization at public events, forums, and community meetings.
- Develop programs and initiatives that foster meaningful community involvement.
- Fundraising & Development
- Design and execute annual fundraising plans, including major gifts, grants, campaigns, and events.
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and philanthropic organizations.
- Oversee donor stewardship and recognition programs.
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of fundraising activities.
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive leadership experience in communications, marketing, fundraising, or community engagement.
- Proven success in developing and executing strategic plans.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and fundraising platforms.
