Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Navigator located in Ellensburg, WA. Navigators will actively engage with individuals and families to assess their needs and connect them to relevant services, including housing, education, transportation, and energy assistance programs. The role involves coordinating with community partners, maintaining detailed case records, and providing advocacy to ensure clients receive the necessary support. Navigators will play a key role in supporting underserved populations and empowering them to achieve stability and greater self-reliance.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and advocacy
- Case management and organizational skills, with experience in maintaining detailed records
- Ability to coordinate with community partners and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to assess client needs and connect them to appropriate services
- Proficiency in using relevant software for documentation and reporting
- Understanding of social service programs related to housing, education, transportation, or energy assistance
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working with diverse or underserved populations is a strong advantage
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for outreach efforts
