Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, cooking, and presenting dishes
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of meals and snacks to residents
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to infection control policies
- Restock food and supplies, as needed
- Monitor resident diets and special needs, reporting any concerns or issues to management
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special events and functions
- Perform other support duties as needed, including laundry, linen services, and housekeeping
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
