Hope Center Clinic is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and personable Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. This position provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and plays an essential role in recruiting, onboarding, employee record management, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay
$22.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding paperwork
- Maintain confidential employee personnel files and HR records
- Process new hire, termination, and employee status change documentation
- Assist with benefits enrollment and answer employee benefit questions
- Coordinate employee orientations and onboarding schedules
- Monitor background checks, credentialing, licenses, certifications, and required renewals
- Assist with performance review tracking and employee evaluations
- Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies
- Assist with payroll preparation by ensuring employee documentation is complete
- Track employee training requirements and compliance deadlines
- Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist with employee recognition programs and company events
- Support investigations and documentation related to employee relations issues
- Prepare reports and maintain HR databases and spreadsheets
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- 1–2 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with ADP or other HRIS/payroll systems
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or home care
- Knowledge of Idaho employment laws
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or working toward certification)
