Order Fulfillment Coordinator
Sunset West, a division of Hooker Furnishings Corporation, is currently recruiting an Order Fulfillment Coordinator. Sunset West specializes in luxury outdoor furniture for residential and hospitality markets. Hooker Furnishings, celebrating over a century in business, is a designer, marketer, and importer of case goods, leather, fabric-upholstered, and outdoor furniture.
We are looking for an Order Fulfillment Coordinator to be a member of our Production team located in the Vista, CA office. This is a great opportunity to learn about Hooker Furniture and engage with team members, sales representatives, and customers.
The primary function of this role is releasing orders to production and warehouse for fulfillment and working directly with customers to schedule pickups and shipments. This individual will:
- Utilize D365 software to manage transactions, production flow and order allocation
- Schedule production work based upon upcoming shipments and will calls ensuring the production team has full schedule each day
- Coordinate and follow up on warehouse inventory transfer orders partnering with Production and Shipping teams
- Have direct contact with customers and reps by email and phone regularly addressing status, product availability and scheduling opportunities
- Partner with Credit team to coordinate payments and credit holds to expedite order available for shipment
- Daily review of orders to be processed for shipping opportunities and proactively search for potential issues
- Daily review of frame allocation to assist with intercompany warehouse transfers
- All other tasks and projects assigned

Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm.
Pay Range: $23.00-25.00 per hour
