Job Objective:
Ensure end-to-end daily operation of the fulfillment center by supervising and directly executing activities across production (picking and packing), inventory, shipping, and receiving. This role guarantees same-day SLA compliance, inventory integrity, and customer satisfaction. Due to a reduced base workforce in the United States and dependence on temporary personnel whose availability fluctuates with demand, this position must lead, reassign resources, and perform operational tasks when necessary. The role coordinates priorities with Client Success team, maintains operational standards, manages personnel, and leads operational projects assigned by the client.
Key Responsabilities
A. Fulfillment (Production)
• Ensure same-day SLA compliance for all orders within cutoff hours.
• Supervise and execute picking, packing, and order closing activities in ShipHero.
• Balance work lines, assign personnel, and optimize operational flows.
• Verify SOP compliance by client and ensure quality standards.
• Monitor productivity at both individual and module levels in real time.
• Resolve operational issues, escalate critical problems, and document deviations.
B. Inventory
• Ensure inventory integrity and proper location control.
• Execute and supervise transfers, basic adjustments, and ShipHero records.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and coordinate counts when required.
• Ensure the module is ready to support same-day order SLA.
• Achieve the operational target of 99% fulfillment of the daily replenishment list.
C. Shipping & Receiving
• Ensure shipments meet same-day SLA.
• Supervise and execute inbound reception, inspection, recording, sorting, and documentation.
• Maintain a one-day SLA for inbound processing.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers.
• Verify labels, scans, packaging integrity, and client requirements.
• Manage shipment information, closures, and operational files in systems.
D. Cross-functional Coordination
• Align priorities with Customer Success based on demand, projects, and exceptions.
• Work with Engineering and Operations to resolve issues and propose improvements.
• Track progress of client-assigned operational projects.
• Participate in Daily Management and continuous improvement meetings.
E. Leadership & Personnel Management
• Coordinate, assign, and supervise base and temporary personnel across all operational modules.
• Oversee attendance, incidents, and policy compliance.
• Ensure proper staff training in ShipHero, SOPs, and internal procedures.
• Promote a culture of safety, order, quality, and urgency.
