The Team

The Mechanical Structures and Components (MS&C) division of Honeywell Aerospace is responsible for a wide variety of product lines including environmental controls, valves, and actuators.  This position would be a part of the Tempe Analysis team who supports these various product lines using state of the art software tools.  This team applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

·       Structural stress analysis using Ansys and hand calculations

·       Support execution of vibration testing

·       Mechanical component selection and sizing including bearings and seals

·       Creation of technical documentation such as stress reports or part specifications

·       Collaborating with project and design engineering teams

·       Create and present analysis results in Critical Design Reviews

·       Provide cost and workload estimation. Maintain schedule adherence to meet key milestones.
